Meet the Team

Avi Loren Fox · Studio Owner, Creative Director, Photographer,

My journey as a business owner began in 2011 when I opened my photography studio, known for its candid and vibrant editorial style. In 2014, while continuing to operate Avi Fox Photography I launched Wild Mantle, a fashion business specializing in sustainably made hooded scarves that garnered an international customer base through image-driven campaigns. By 2018, I started receiving requests to work with other small business owners as a consultant - now expanding my expertise to include strategic guidance, website design, and other services. Finding fulfillment and traction in this work, I closed Wild Mantle during the pandemic and now offer a full suite of services to small business owners and nonprofit leaders - from photography to website design and strategic consulting to business admin support. My expertise lies in aligning with my clients' desires and values, helping them amplify these elements in the world. Whether it's building a values-driven business for change or achieving a desired lifestyle, I support clients in making their vision a reality.

Over the years, my work has been featured on:

I’m also a Udall Scholar and a StartingBloc Social Innovations Fellow. I run my businesses from my hometown of Narberth, in suburban Philadelphia, and from Portland, on the coast of Maine. In my spare time, I write a Substack newsletter called “All The Bits,” which offers five-minute heartfelt glimmers on creativity, self-care, spirituality, and self-employment.

If you have interest in working with me on a project, feel free to schedule a time to chat.

Abhi · Associate Photographer

Traveling is Abhi’s first love, capturing stories on the way is just instinct. His curiosity for new cultures and traditions, meeting new people and exchanging stories, drives Abhi’s passion and his cameras are his instrument. Born and nurtured in another hemisphere, a pursuit of science and a PhD brought Abhi to the USA where he is now a very happy Philly resident.

Pete · Associate Photographer

Pete has been shooting professionally since 2004, and he still gets excited and nervous for every shoot. He absolutely loves what he does because he genuinely enjoys working with and getting to know all sorts of people. As cheesy as it may sound, Pete loves capturing and freezing moments in time. He is endlessly photographing his own family in an effort to try and preserve each moment and subtle feeling of the various phases of our lives.

Pete first met his (now) wife, Dawn, in their 7th-grade homeroom and they now have two little ones and three cats at home. He feels lucky to be married to his best friend. When enjoying time off, you can find Pete’s kids playing mermaids or Star Wars with each other, the cats clawing all our furniture, Dawn re-organizing the entire kitchen (again) and Pete wondering where all the utensils just went.

Bonnie · Associate Photographer

Bonnie has loved photography for as long as she can remember. Bringing her silly and fun spirit to her work, Bonnie prides herself in becoming friends with her clients which allows her to create photos that are an extension of their vision.

When she is not behind the camera shooting for her own company or Associate Shooting for Avi, Bonnie is a mom and a middle school special education teacher. She resides in New Jersey.

Tara · Associate Photographer

Tara first picked up a camera at the age of 15 and immediately developed a love for photography. She went on to major in photography which allowed her to study abroad in Rome and tour her way through Europe. Since then, Tara has established herself as a Philadelphia based photographer and creative, running her own photography business and working within her family’s jewelry business, Tracy Tayan Designs.

It was during Tara’s time at Tyler that she first met Avi and completed a college internship at Avi Fox Photography in 2013. Tara and Avi reconnected in 2019 where Tara re-joined the team as an Associate Photographer.

Tara lives in Philadelphia with her husband (Zach) and dog (Betsy Ross). In her free time, Tara enjoys taking off on outdoor adventures - both locally and globally.
