Talulah’s Garden
This website was built for Talulah’s Garden - a local organization in Gray, Maine dedicated to building community, nurturing wellness, and supporting Maine nonprofits.
I am so excited to announce the launch of the new website for Talulah's Garden a local organization in Gray, Maine dedicated to building community, nurturing wellness, and supporting Maine nonprofits. I first met Founder Pam Cates when I tumbled into one of her Backyard Yoga classes where as you practice - her pigs wander around between the yoga mats muhcing on grass or coming over for a scratch. It was such a bespoke experience and as my heart filled with joy, I knew she had created something special. I was thrilled when months later she approached me about helping her to build an organization around this community so she could have a her community offerings so she could have an organization to add more offerings to. And so, Talulah's Garden was born - named after one of Pam's pigs and the space that the offerings take place in. Throughout our launch project we desiged a logo, style guide, got clear on mission and vision, developed copy for the website, built the website, set up a "merch" store, and more. Here is the homepage as it was designed at launch, and to view the live site you can visit TalulahsGarden.org. Thank you to Pam for having me as your consultant and website designer. This was a very special project to work on and I am so happy to have been able to support your work in the world. I can’t wait to see how Talulah’s Garden grows from here! - Avi
Todi Arts Studio
My team and I had a fantastic time working with Ron on the creation of the Todi Arts Studio website. Todi Arts Studio at Villa Zefiro is a 501c3 located in Todi, Italy and providing residencies to established sculptors, offering them a serene environment to work on new projects while contributing to Todi's cultural life and reputation as an international sculpture destination. We worked with Ron to develop a style guide inspired by the photographs of the Todi landscape as well as copy and content aimed at introducing artists and supporting philanthropists to the Todi Arts Studio experience. We are happy to share Ron’s review from our google business profile:
”I wish I could give ten stars! Avi and Becca have exquisite taste and design sensibility combined with exceptional customer service. I worked with them on several projects, the largest of which was the website for our nonprofit association, Todi Arts Studio. They have my highest recommendation!” - Ron Schiller
(For the record, we loved working with Ron too and would give him 10 stars as a client if we could!)
Here is the finished homepage we launched the site with:
Hope Grows for Autism
Hope Grows for Autism is a non-profit which advocates for cannabinoid-based medicine as a front-line solution for symptoms and clusters of symptoms related to Autism. Founder Erica daniels started the nonprofit back in 2016 after her son Leo was diagnosed with Autism, by 2022 she was ready for a major website overhaul. In addition to a branding and messaging refresh, we did a photography shoot to not only produce additional imagery for the website, but for the podcast Erica was launching. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with Erica and this incredible organization. To check out the live site, visit HopeGrowsForAutism.org.
GETincluded & GET Café
Announcing new website and branding launched for Get Included/Get Cafe by Avi Fox Business Consulting.
It was a pleasure to design a new website for GETincluded, a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the social inclusion of neurodivergent individuals and individuals with a disability in the community setting. GETincluded does this through the operation of community space and coffee shop GET Café in Narberth, Pennsylvania.
Working alongside Founder Brooke Goodspeed, we used their existing beloved GET Cafe logo which featured a gradient of blue/green to inspire the color palette for the website. We curated a selection of existing photographs from the nonprofit’s archive and also used a number from a photo shoot I did with Brooke's family to tell the story of her son Oliver, who inspired GET's mission. Building the site on Squarespace, we set the organization up for success in terms of being able to edit the site directly after the initial build was done, giving them independence from the ongoing requirements of a webmaster.
We also created a logo for GETincluded that complimented the aesthetic of the GET Cafe logo while also providing a visual to differentiate the parent nonprofit from the business operating within it. We also established an events page giving the organization a central online location for event info, and used Squarespace's blog feature as a media and press feature, creating an evergreen archive as the organization's story is told and unfolds. I loved working on this project because of the genuine heart and soul of the individuals running the organization and working on the cafe. A true embodiment of community, GET is a special place and I'm so happy to have helped them elevate their brand's presence online. To visit the live website, go to GETincluded.org
